Angel was a spin off series from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The show aired on the WB network from October 5, 1999 to May 19, 2004. The show stared David Boreanaz as Angel, Alexis Denisof as Wesley Wyndam-Pryce, Charisma Carpenter as Cordelia Chase, J. August Richards as Charles Gunn, Andy Hallett as Lorne and Amy Acker as Winifred "Fred" Burkle.The show follows Angel a vampire whose human soul was restored to him by gypsies as punishment for the murder of "the beloved daughter". Angel's soul torments him with guilt which leads him on the road to "help the hopeless" and possibly redemption.
